APOSTILLE is issued in the case of documents intended for circulation in a state that is a party to the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961 Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents (check the country).

 

NOTE:

1.    Apostille is not being issued in respect of documents intended for circulation in: Burundi, Kosovo and China (except of Hongkong and Makau).

2.    Apostille can be issued only in respect of documents including personal stamp and signed by authorized person e.g. Rektor, Prorektor, Dziekan or Prodziekan.

 

LEGALIZATION is done in case of documents intended for circulation in state that is not a party to the above mentioned Hague Convention of 5 October 1961.
