    4th Internalisation Congress - Strategy for the Internalisation

    We invite you to participate in the 4th Internationalisation Congress, which will take place on 18–19 May 2026 in Kraków. This year’s host institution will be the AGH University of Science and Technology.

    The Congress will focus on the Strategy for the Sustainable Internationalisation of Science and Higher Education in Poland until 2035. This is an important moment for the academic and scientific community, as the strategy will define the directions of activities that, in the coming years, will shape the development of international cooperation among Polish universities, research institutes, and institutions within the science and higher education system.

    We warmly invite representatives of universities, scientific and research institutes, public administration, organisations supporting the development of science and higher education, experts in internationalisation, and all those who contribute to the international dimension of Polish science.

    Programme of the event

    During the Congress, we will discuss how to approach internationalisation in a responsible, coherent, and meaningful way for institutions, the academic community, and the broader socio-economic environment.

    The program will include plenary sessions, expert discussions, and parallel events devoted, among others, to state policy in the field of internationalization, the role of the strategy within the science and higher education system, geopolitical changes, security, academic freedom, and the impact of international cooperation on local and economic development.

    The 4th Internationalisation Congress will provide a space for discussion on the current shape of the strategy, its assumptions, and its practical significance for institutions. We particularly encourage participation from professionals who are directly responsible for internationalization activities, implement international projects, support academic mobility, develop partnerships, or create conditions for strengthening the global presence of Polish science.
