Ewelina Pabjańczyk-Wlazło, PhD, Eng. – director of the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School at Lodz University of Technology. Her professional interests are focused around education and research quality in the broad sense, in particular from the angle of young researchers, as well as around the concept of open science and internationalisation of science and higher education. Her research is centred on innovative fibrous biomaterials that can be applied in regenerative medicine. She has carried out an international grant of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and has participated in or managed several other Polish and international projects. She has completed research fellowships in Germany and Japan. She has gained several years of experience in managerial positions, including in international organisations: she has been among others president of the Brussels-based Board of the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (EURODOC) and chair of the Polish Representation of Doctoral Candidates. She is currently member of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange and of the Young Scientists Council. Winner of numerous regional and international awards and scholarships.
