Scholarship holder of the French Government (Université Paris-Sorbonne, Paris IV, 2001), recipient of a research scholarship at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (2002). Numerous research and teaching stays at Spanish universities: Universidad de la Rioja (Logroño), Universidad de Navarra (Pamplona), Universidad de Murcia. Co-founder and Vice Chair of the Scientific Council of the Spanish-Polish Institute (2006-2016), member of the following scientific societies: Asociación para la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera (ASELE), the Polish Linguistics Society and the Polish Hispanic Association, where he serves on the award committee for outstanding publications.
Editor of the scientific journal Roczniki Humanistyczne (Annals of Arts) (vol. 5 Neophilology, vol. 6 Linguistics), member of scientific boards of the following journals: Cuadernos de Investigación Filológica (Universidad de la Rioja), Studia Iberista (the Jagiellonian University) and Studia Polonijne (the Catholic University of Lublin). Author of two monographs, dozens of scientific articles and chapters in monographs and editor of several collective publications in Spanish and Romance linguistics. Speaker at numerous international scientific conferences. Reviewer in postdoctoral (habilitacja) and doctoral proceedings, supervisor of dozens of theses (Roman Philology at the Catholic University of Lublin, Iberian Philology at Vincent Pol University), including one doctoral dissertation.
