With the launch of the first programmes, we inaugurated a series of meetings across Poland: “A day with NAWA” during which we want to introduce the offer and the programmes of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) to universities and institutions.

The first meeting took place at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, on 4 April, where the NAWA delegation headed by Dr Zofia Sawicka, Deputy Director of NAWA met with universities from the West Pomeranian Voivoideship. Professor Bogusław Machaliński, PhD in Medical Science, greeted the participants of the meeting. During the meeting, NAWA programmes were presented, including a programme for scientists, which was introduced by Agnieszka Stefaniak-Hryćko, Head of the Programme for Scientists Department. The participants could also learn more about the offer of programmes directed to institutions thanks to Katarzyna Aleksy, Head of the Programmes for Institutions Department.

Hanna Reczulska, Head of the Authentication and Recognition Department presented the issue of recognition and authentication of documents, while Malwina Górecka from the Communication and Promotion Department described the opportunities and tools offered to universities by NAWA in the context of foreign promotion of higher education.
