On 2 June 2026, the University of Rzeszów will host a NAWA Internationalisation Day dedicated to Poland’s place in international science and research.
Please note that the event will be conducted in Polish.
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange invites you to the NAWA Internationalisation Day in Rzeszów entitled “Poland’s Place in International Science and Research”.
NAWA Internationalisation Days are a series of consultation meetings organised as part of the work on the National Strategy for the Internationalisation of Science and Higher Education. The meetings create a space for dialogue between representatives of the academic and research community, public administration and experts involved in international cooperation.
On 2 June at the University of Rzeszów, we will discuss Poland’s role in international science and research and how to strengthen the position of Polish universities and research institutes worldwide. We will review the achievements of Polish institutions and researchers in Horizon Europe since 2021, including the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie grants supported by NAWA. We will also reflect on how to prepare stronger applications and increase Poland’s participation in the next EU framework programme. The discussion will also address barriers that should be overcome to make more effective use of European funding opportunities.
