Results in the gen. Anders Programme for the Polish diaspora for second-degree studies have been announced. Scholarships for one-year preparatory courses or second-degree studies in the academic year 2019/2020 will be granted to almost 150 candidates from the eligible countries.

At the same time, we would like to remind you that persons who intend to take up studies in the academic year 2019/2020 are obliged to meet all recruitment criteria at the university of their choice. In the event of any questions, please contact the Programme coordinators.

The purpose of the Programme, which implements the principles of the ‘Government Programme of Cooperation with the Polish Diaspora’, is to improve the qualifications and command of Polish among the Polish community abroad by offering young people of Polish decent the opportunity to take up Master studies in Poland.

NAWA’s programme offers the scholarship holders the possibility to complete studies in higher education institutions supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education free of education fees and to receive from NAWA a monthly scholarship to cover the cost of living for the duraton of the regular period of education in Poland. Moreover, the Programme enables approved candidates to attend a yearly preparatory course prior to beginning their studies. The purpose of the course is to improve the holders’ command of Polish and their knowledge in the area of their future major subjects.

Candidates eligible to apply for the scholarship are persons of Polish origin who are citizens of one of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czechia, Croatia, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Hungary and countries of South America, Middle America and Africa.
