Promotion of the Polish language is one of NAWA’s main tasks. We carry it out through numerous undertakings and programmes, including organisation of summer courses of the Polish language and culture. During the courses, participants have the opportunity to learn Polish intensively (approx. 20 hours of coursework during a week), speak Polish both in class and outside of it (on the street, in a restaurant, during meetings with the Polish people) as well as visit Polish cities, interact with other foreign students or cooperate on projects with them.

Recruitment for the Programme ends on 18 March, 3 p.m. Students can enrol for a course during one of the following periods in 2019:

1–29 July,

8–29 July,

1–29 August,

9–30 August.

Teachers on the other hand only have one period available: 1–22 August 2019. As of this moment the centres where these courses will be held remain unknown (selection procedure is under way).

As part of intensive Polish language courses, NAWA scholarship holders take part in free of charge classes with experienced teachers of Polish as a foreign language, classes on Polish history and culture, thematic workshops, film screenings, trips to interesting sites, integration events (including meetings with Poles), as well as accommodation in rooms with 4-beds or less, food (3 meals a day) and a scholarship of PLN 500 (language teachers - PLN 700).
