19 students will come to Poland for Master's studies in the upcoming academic year 2025/26 as part of the Poland My First Choice programme.
The Poland My First Choice NAWA programme aims to encourage young people from developed countries to study at Polish academic universities. Beneficiaries are exempt from fees for education at public universities, and are also entitled to a one-time lump sum for international travel to Poland. In addition, the programme offers a NAWA Director’s scholarship in the amount of PLN 1,800 per month during the statutory period of second-cycle studies, if the studies are undertaken in full-time mode in Polish or English at academic universities (public and non-public) supervised by the Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education.
This year's beneficiaries will come to Poland from such distant places as Hong Kong, Japan, the USA and South Korea. The list also includes graduates of, among others, such excellent universities as the Sapienza University of Rome, the University of Salamanca, Queens University of Belfast and Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania.
The most popular universities chosen by the new beneficiaries included the Jagiellonian University, the Warsaw University of Technology, the University of Warsaw and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
