Within the framework of the programme, we enable visits of students, doctoral students, academic teachers and researchers to Polish institutions of higher education and science on a scholarship basis. This initiative is supported by international agreements established between Poland and designated partner countries and territories.
The Incoming offer is addressed to the citizens of Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Greece, Japan, Yemen, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Germany, Palestine, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, Hungary and Vietnam.
The length and type of stay depend on the provisions of the individual bilateral agreements - information can be found in Appendix 1 to the call for applications.
Visits are eligible for the following purposes:
- completing full or partial studies at universities supervised by the Minister of Science and Higher Education;
- education at a doctoral school;
- scientific stay, e.g.: scientific internship, study visits, obtaining materials for scientific work, conducting teaching classes at the host center, other forms of scientific or academic activity related to the implementation of studies, doctoral thesis or scientific work.
Those interested in coming to Poland under the Zawacka NAWA programme should contact the partner institution in their country, which is responsible for selecting candidates.
The exception is candidates from Germany, who apply directly to the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
