Announcement on the call for applications No 11/2019 of March 6, 2019

Pursuant to Article 19(1) of the Act of 7 July 2017 on the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (Journal of Laws, item 1530, of August 11, 2017) Director of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange announces call for applications to the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme – master studies.

Aim of the Programme

The Programme aim is to support the socio-economic growth of developing countries (excluding European and Central Asian countries) through raising the level of knowledge and education of their citizens.Scholarship holders will be first recruited from the following countries: Angola, Colombia, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, The Republic of South Africa, The Philippines, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Vietnam.

Scope of activities implemented under the Programme

Participation in the Programme enable to undertake studies at universities in Poland and other form of education (preparatory course preceding studies). NAWA Director’s scholarship is granted for the duration of the preparatory course and for the regulatory period of studies with an exemption from education fees at public universities. A monthly maintenance scholarship from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange to cover the costs of accommodation and living. The scholarship is paid for a maximum of 12 months in the academic year once a month through the higher education institution.

Deadline for submitting applications

The call for applications under the Programme shall be conducted in the period from 6 March until 30 April 2019, 3 pm Central European Time (Warsaw local time), solely in an electronic form via NAWA’s ICT system, available one the https://programs.nawa.gov.pl/login website. 

Announcement of ranking lists will be published by 31 August 2019.
