Crowds of Colombians at the Polish stand, meetings with the best colleges in Colombia, ICETEX organization, as well as with Polish university alumni - these are just some points of the educational mission programme in Colombia, which takes place on 13-17 April 2018.
The mission began with participation in the largest educational fair in Latin America, Expo Estudiante, which lasted in Bogota on 14-15 April. Ms. Agnieszka Frydrychowicz-Tekieli, Polish Ambassador in Columbia opened the Polish stand. During the two-day fair, the Polish stand was one of the most willingly visited, and interested persons could learn more about the offer of Polish universities and the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme managed by NAWA, addressed to developing countries, including Colombia. During the fair, there was a presentation for Colombian students Poland my best choice which was attended by many participants of the fair.
The Polish delegation consisting of representatives of NAWA, KRASP and the Jagiellonian University, Poznan University of Technology and Cracow University of Technology also participated in meetings with the best colleges in Colombia: Universidad Nacional and Universidad de los Andes. During the meetings, NAWA's offer was presented and the possibilities of cooperation between Polish and Colombian universities were discussed.
During the educational mission, representatives of Poland at the invitation of Ambassador Agnieszka Frydrychowicz-Tekieli also met in the Embassy with the alumni of Polish universities who talked about their experiences related to studying in Poland. Moreover, a meeting at ICETEX, a Colombian organization dealing with international exchange, is scheduled on Tuesday.
