On 3 June 2020, Prof. Wojciech Maksymowicz met with the new members of the NAWA Council who are representatives of the minister in charge of higher education and science in the seat of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education MNiSW.
During the meeting, Prof. Maksymowicz discussed, among other things, the opportunities for the Agency. ‘The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange faces serious challenges. All institutions in our country have to change the way they operate in order to adapt to epidemiological requirements, which are dynamic and often change. This is a unique challenge in the case of international exchange. Therefore, a very close cooperation between the NAWA Council and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is essential,’ said Prof. Maksymowicz.
