Apart from promoting higher education and the Polish language as well as developing and carrying out programmes directed at scholars, students and institutions, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) plays a crucial role in the area of recognition of foreign diplomas and academic degrees as Poland’s national information centre associated in the ENIC-NARIC network. We are pleased to announce that NAWA, along with qualifications recognition centres from the Netherlands (Nuffic), Denmark (Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education), Estonia (Archimedes), France (CIEP), Lithuania (Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education), Norway (NOKUT), Ukraine (Information and Image Center) and Italy (CIMEA), has joined the project Implementation of LRC COMPLIant recognition practices in the EHEA (I-Comply).
The project’s principal objective is to facilitate the system of recognising academic qualifications within the European Higher Education Area. It is coordinated by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. It will be financed from the funds of the European Commission as part of the programme Erasmus+ KA3: Support to the implementation of EHEA reforms.
