The conference will open on Monday, 23 June, with a high-level policy panel dedicated to aligning EU and national strategies to build a more cohesive and resilient European Research Area.
This will be followed by a timely discussion highlighting Poland’s emergence as a hub for international researchers. Later in the afternoon, attention will turn to the dynamics of brain circulation and talent mobility in global science, exploring both the challenges and opportunities in attracting and retaining research excellence.
The day will conclude with a Polish networking reception — an evening gathering offering space for informal exchange and cross-sector dialogue within the R&I community.

On Tuesday, 24 June, the conference will delve into the mechanisms underpinning international research collaboration.
We will begin with a session on the strategic role of grant agencies in fostering global scientific engagement.
The day will continue with focused discussions: one on advancing a truly innovative European Research Area, and another on empowering R&I collaboration through rethinking research management in the new ERA. The event will close with a keynote address reflecting on the effectiveness of national strategies in enabling successful international scientific cooperation.
