    Joint research projects are designed to support the mobility of scientists conducting research projects that have been agreed upon and are being carried out jointly by eligible applicants from Poland and partner countries.

    Funding is intended solely to cover the costs of personnel exchanges and does not include research funding. Projects last two years, and the maximum funding available is PLN 40,000. Applications for funding can be submitted by the higher education and research institutions specified in each call for proposals.

    Bilateral agreements concluded between individual countries form the basis for recruitment to the Joint Research Projects programme. Calls for proposals are announced annually in partnership with the French Republic (PHC Polonium Call) and the Federal Republic of Germany. Every other year, calls for proposals are organised in collaboration with the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Austria. Arrangements with other countries are made on an ongoing basis.
