In 2024, the EUI has launched a new Widening Europe Programme.
This Programme aims to build a bridge between the EUI and national higher education institutions in targeted Widening countries (in which the level of success in EU research competitions is lower than the EU average). Poland also belongs to this group. The programme focuses on early career researchers, fellows, senior academics, and administrative staff.
Calls for the programme are announced on an ongoing basis.
The International Visegrad Fund and the European University Institute offer grants to post-graduate scholars from Central and Eastern Europe interested in European integration to conduct research at the Historical Archives of the European Union.
Six research grants of EUR 5,000 will be available each year.
The deadline to apply is 30 April 2025.
The Academy of European organizes two Advanced summer level courses on Human Rights and The Law of the European Union. Both courses will be held at Villa Salviati on Monday 16 - Friday 27 June 2025. Applicants from Poland may apply for a fee waiver under the Widening Program.
The deadline to apply is 4 April 2025.
