He holds a PhD in the Humanities in the discipline of Linguistics and is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for the Development of Economic Studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
From February to August 2025, he served as Deputy Chair of the Council of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
He holds bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Social Communication, with a specialisation in journalism in ethnic and cultural borderlands, and in Political Science, with a specialisation in marketing in public administration, business and politics. He also holds a master’s degree in Political Science, with a specialisation in Media Studies, from the University of Szczecin.
During his studies, he served as Secretary of the University Council of the Doctoral Students’ Government and Deputy Chair of the Faculty Council of the Doctoral Students’ Government at the Faculty of Philology. He was also a member of the Senate of the University of Szczecin, the Council of the Faculty of Humanities and the University Appeals Disciplinary Committee. He served as Vice-President of the Pro Res Publica Academic Society and co-organised the MKDUS International Doctoral Students’ Conference. He received numerous scholarships from the Rector and the Minister in recognition of his outstanding academic achievements.
He is a graduate of the first edition of the Academy of Social Democracy. He has participated in and spoken at seminars and conferences organised in Poland and abroad by, among others, the Ferdinand Lassalle Centre for Social Thought, the Amicus Europae Foundation, the Global.Lab Foundation, the Ignacy Daszyński Centre, the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, the Łukasiewicz Research Network and the National Centre for Research and Development. He has attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Economic Forum in Karpacz, the New Mobility Congress, the European Forum for New Ideas and Impact. He is also a member of the Poland–Germany Progressive Network of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
From 2020 to 2024, he worked as an adviser at the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, where he coordinated the work of a Member of the European Parliament in the Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN), the Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT), and the delegations for relations with the United States and Israel. He worked with members of the European Parliament’s Intergroup for Traditional Minorities, National Communities and Languages, as well as with university rectors’ representatives for European Union affairs.
During his employment at the European Parliament, he acted as a substantive mentor to trainees, including students from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the University of Zielona Góra. He organised events and study visits for representatives of higher education institutions to European institutions, the Polish Science Contact Agency PolSCA Office of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels, and Business & Science Poland. In cooperation with the EUROPE DIRECT centres in Guben and Zielona Góra, he coordinated information sessions on European affairs for school students from Poland and Germany.
From 2024 to 2025, he served as Head of the Political Cabinet of the Minister of Science. His responsibilities included liaising with conferences of rectors, the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland, the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union, and the Brussels office of the National Centre for Research and Development.
He also cooperated with the Sejm Standing Subcommittee on Science and Higher Education and the Chair of the Council for the Polish Language at the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He was a member of the Minister of Science’s team responsible for Poland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union and co-organised the Ministerial Forum for Academic Debate.
He is currently a member of the Advisory Team for the Popularisation of Science and the Advisory Team for Updating the National Science Policy. He also represents the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on the jury of the Polonicum Award, presented by the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners “Polonicum” at the University of Warsaw in recognition of outstanding contributions to the promotion of Polish culture and the Polish language abroad.
As part of his academic activities, he serves on programme councils and advisory bodies, including:
– the Stakeholder Council of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw;
– the Graduate Qualifications Council of the Faculty of Cybernetics at the Military University of Technology;
– the research team of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Social Development at the University of Szczecin;
– the Committee for Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland;
– the Programme Council of the Information Technology Forum;
– the Scientific Committee of the National Scientific Conference of the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates;
– as an Honorary Ambassador of the international research and education project “Mathematics in Focus”.
His academic and research interests include contemporary discourses, values expressed through language, language education, international politics, and the internationalisation of science and higher education.
