Polish scientists have been changing the world for centuries and now we know better than ever that international cooperation is crucial for the development of science. Today, on Polish Science Day, it is worth remembering that we can be proud of our compatriots, while being aware that knowledge knows no boundaries!
Today, for the sixth time, the Polish Science Gala will be held in Toruń, during which outstanding representatives of the Polish world of science and higher education will receive the Awards of the Minister of Science and Higher Education in five categories: scientific, teaching, implementation, organization and for overall achievements. The Agency will be represented at the ceremony by the director of NAWA, Dr. Wojciech Karczewski.
Polish Science Day commemorating the achievements of Polish scientists and their contribution to the development of world science was established in 2020 and its date - February 19th marks the anniversary of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus. The international impact of the achievements of Polish scientists - including Copernicus' heliocentric theory - on the development of global science shows how important the aspect of internationalization is in the context of science and higher education. We are glad that, as the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, we contribute to the internationalization of Polish science. Join us!
