International candidates can apply for a NAWA scholarship to pursue full-time second-cycle studies in Poland.

The Programme is addressed to international candidates from countries and territories with a high level of socio-economic development who plan to start full-time second-cycle studies at Polish academic institutions in the 2026/2027 academic year.

The scholarship includes:

• a monthly NAWA scholarship of PLN 2,000;
• tuition fee exemption at public universities;
• a one-off travel allowance for coming to Poland.

Admission to studies

Candidates choose the university and field of study independently, based on the offer of Polish academic institutions that have signed a framework agreement with NAWA.

NAWA does not participate in the university admission process. Applicants must apply separately to the chosen university and meet its admission requirements.

Application deadline

Applications must be submitted electronically via the NAWA ICT system by 29 May 2026, 3:00 PM Warsaw local time.

Language requirements

Please note: applications may be submitted in Polish or English. Candidates must provide proof of knowledge of the language of instruction of the chosen study programme –Polish or English –at least at B2 level.
