We would like to remind you that the 2023 Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) call (HORIZON-MSCA-2023-PF-01-01) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions is open.

Project applications can be submitted until 13th September 2023, 5:00 pm Bruxelle time by European Commission portal.

The aim of the PF is the implementation of individual research and training projects for scientists with a doctoral degree. The program aims to gain new skills and experience for the development of a scientific career as a result of working in an individual, interdisciplinary research and training project and thanks to international and intersectoral mobility.

In the previous edition of the MSCA PF competition (2022), 16 Polish institutions submitted a total of 49 applications for project co-financing. Most applications were submitted to the panels: life science (LIF), sociology (SOC) and physics (PHY) (Fig. 1).

After evaluation: two institutions (University of Warsaw - PHY, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan - CHE) were invited to sign the grant agreement, three institutions were on the reserve list (Silesian University of Technology - SOC, University of Wroclaw - PHY, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology - LIF).

Of the remaining: 17 applications scored above 70 points and were recommended for funding, 23 applications scored below 70 points and were not recommended for funding, and 4 applications were not approved for evaluation (fig. 2).
