  • We are announcing a new call for applications under the PROM Programme, which supports the internationalisation of higher education and research institutions by funding short-term academic mobility.

The PROM Programme offers an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in an international environment, as well as to develop cooperation with partners abroad. Funding is available to students, doctoral candidates and academic staff.

Under the programme, mobility activities may include, among others, participation in conferences, summer and winter schools, courses, workshops, internships, study visits, archival and library research, teaching assignments, or preparation of an international grant application.

Scholarship-funded outgoing and incoming mobility may last from 5 to 30 days. Activities may be carried out on-site, remotely or in a blended format between 1 January 2027 and 30 April 2028.

In this edition, we have introduced two important changes:

    • we have increased the limit for the participation of academic staff in a project to 50%,
    • we have extended the project implementation period from 12 to 16 months.

Applications must be submitted in Polish via the NAWA System by 27 August 2026. The budget for the call is PLN 15 million.

The programme is financed by the European Union under the FERS project “Short-term academic exchange as a way to improve the quality of education in higher education and research institutions”.
