NAWA opens the call for applications for the Prof. Stefan Banach Programme for international students.
The Banach NAWA programme is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Academic Exchange Agency supporting the socio-economic development of developing countries by raising the level of knowledge and education of their citizens.
Equalising the educational level of citizens from different regions of the world is an activity that is not only the result of the social responsibility of the scientific community, but above all of supporting promising young scientists. It is an investment in our common future - this is what NAWA Director General Dr Dawid Kostecki says about the programme.
From 28 February to 31 March 2023, applications can be submitted under the scholarship programme for second-cycle studies in Polish or English at Polish universities supervised by the Minister of Education and Science.
The realisation of education under the programme must begin in the academic year 2023/2024 by undertaking a preparatory course prior to studies or second-cycle studies.
The Banach NAWA scholarship can be applied for by citizens of: Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Montenegro, Ethiopia, Philippines, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, Kosovo, Lebanon, North Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, South Africa, Senegal, Serbia, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
The scholarship programme is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Academic Exchange Agency implemented as part of the Polish development aid programme.
