NAWA develops its own programmes that support the international careers of researchers and strengthen the internationalisation of Polish universities and research institutions.
We strive to ensure that our programmes not only respond to the development needs of the academic and research community and support institutions in implementing their internationalisation strategies, but also take into account the administrative realities faced by academic staff and the institutions in which they work.
NAWA Preludium Bis 1
The objective of the programme is to support international mobility of doctoral students by enabling them to complete fellowships related to participation in research projects under the National Science Centre in Poland PRELUDIUM BIS 1 call for proposals.
Ulam NAWA
The Ulam NAWA programme gives foreign scientists the opportunity to carry out research in Poland. This is the seventh edition of one of our flagship programmes supporting the internationalisation of Polish universities and scientific institutions.
Joint research projects between Poland and Germany 2025
The call for applications aims to support the mobility of scientists conducting research projects agreed upon and carried out jointly by eligible applicants from Poland and partners from Germany entitled to the rules there.
Zawacka NAWA - Incoming offer
The aim of the Programme is to deepen international academic cooperation through the arrival of students, doctoral students, academic teachers and scientists to Polish higher education and science institutions, on the basis of international agreements concluded between Poland and the partner countries indicated in the announcement.
Researchers at risk
The aim of the programme is to ensure the continuation of a career in research or academic activity for those at risk of persecution, violence, or discrimination in their country of origin, in particular on the grounds of race, gender, religion, political opinion, or membership of specific social groups, as well as those at risk of active armed conflict, natural disaster, human rights violations or lack of scientific freedom.
