Dr hab. prof. nadzw. (PhD, Hab. Associate Professor) Marcin Krawczyński – habilitated doctor of physical culture sciences, psychologist; Associate professor at the Academy of Sport Education in Warsaw and at the Athenaeum of the University of Gdańsk; member of the Presidium of the General Council for Science and Higher Education (11th and 12th term); a graduate of the University of Physical Education in Gdańsk and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Gdańsk; a graduate of the Comprehensive Business Management Program (implemented by Central Connecticut State University, Wrocław University of Technology, University of Gdańsk) and MBA (Gdańsk University of Technology); he was a scholarship holder of the Foundation for Polish Science and DAAD; he completed internships at Universities in Germany, Italy and Spain; manager of several research topics, author of 3 monographs, co-author of 5 monographs, 4 edited works, approx. 70 dissertations and articles; over 100 presentations at congresses and scientific conferences, supervisor of 7 doctoral dissertations and many reviews; member of the Polish Psychological Association, Section of Sport Psychology, Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), European Federation of Sport Psychology (FEPSAC), International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP), International Scientific Society of Sports Games (Vice chairman); he is interested in the use of psychology in the theory of sport with particular emphasis on research methods, issues connected with group and interpersonal communication (individual sports and team sports games), public health promotion issues using psychological and physical education methods in people of different ages, anxiety and stress and methods of their reduction (relaxation training); he is the Polish Ski Association trainer and ski instructor and the Polish Yachting Association sailing instructor.
