The Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme
The Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme It is a joint scholarship initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), implemented in the framework of the Polish development aid. The aim of the Programme is to assist the socio-economic development of the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan) by raising the level of education and professional qualifications of their citizens. The Programme grants Master’s degree studies at universities supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the fields of exact, natural, technological, agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences.
The scholarship offer is addressed to foreigners from the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine) and Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan) who
- are students of the final year of the first-cycle studies in the field of exact, natural, agricultural, forestry, veterinary sciences or
- have completed the first-cycle studies in these areas – but no earlier than in the academic year 2015/16 and
- know Polish language at least at the B1 level.
