NAWA Director Dr. Wojciech Karczewski has appointed a new deputy director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange - Dr. Łukasz Gołota.
Dr. Łukasz Gołota completed his studies in Law and International Relations at the University of Warsaw, with an additional semester at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago.
He holds a PhD in Social Sciences and specialises in International Relations, affiliated with the University of Warsaw, where he serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.
His work has focused on building an international academic network; he has also completed research fellowships at institutions such as Peking University and the University of California, Berkeley. As part of his academic and teaching responsibilities, he has participated in numerous international projects, visiting and conducting lectures and seminars at over 40 universities across Europe, Asia, and South America.
His main areas of expertise are international trading system, international political economy, and the Asia-Pacific region.
