Next Saturday, on 15 June, the Long Night of the Sciences will be held in Berlin. During this very popular event, scientific institutions in major German cities open up to the public. More than 70 German research establishments participate in the event each year, offering adults and children alike insight into the sciences through experiments, lectures and workshops.

On this occasion, the Polish Institute in Berlin and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education organise a workshop on Polish-German academic cooperation titled “Supporting German-Polish cooperation in science and higher education”, which will be held on Friday 14 June. The event agenda features among others a meeting with NAWA representatives under the title “Opportunities for international scientific cooperation within the programmes of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange”. Representatives of the Department of Programmes for Scientists and the Department of Programmes for Institutions will talk about the opportunities of obtaining funding for research and institutional collaboration under the Agency’s programmes.
