The Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme
The Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme, implemented as part of the Polish development aid, is addressed to foreigners from the following developing countries: Angola, Chile, Ethiopia, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Colombia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, the Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania and Vietnam. The aim of the Programme is to support the socio-economic development of the above-mentioned countries.
The Programme grants free-of-charge Master’s degree studies at universities supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the fields of exact, natural, technological, agricultural, forestry and veterinary sciences. Second-cycle studies are preceded by a preparatory course for studies in Poland (also on scholarship terms), during which, scholarship holders acquire knowledge of the Polish language enabling them to undertake education. In the case of the students who decide to study in English, the preparatory course can last only one semester.
