The portal Times Higher Education has published articles prepared by Polish higher education and research institutions – winners in the contest "Promocja słowem" (‘Promotion with Words’) that was organised by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA this past June.
The aim of the contest held by NAWA was to promote Polish higher education and science by providing the institutions with an opportunity to have a promotional article published on an international multi-channel portal with the broadest reach in the area of higher education and science – THE’s website has more than 24 million visitors annually.
We would like to encourage you to read the articles prepared by:
Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin: Why is Poland attractive for foreign students? Higher education as a source of Poland’s soft power
and
the University Centre for Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development of the University of Warsaw: The transition into a sustainable society undertaken by the University of Warsaw.
Moreover, both the above texts along with the articles submitted by the Laboratory for Communication and Media of the Maria Grzegorzewska University (‘130 sociology students from Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw received Facebook certificates in digital culture’) and by the University of Agriculture in Krakow (‘Tasty and healthy Krakow for tasty and healthy world’), which received honourable mentions in the contest, will soon appear on the website of the campaign Ready, Study, Go! Poland.
